The plan has two steps: clear brush around edges and thin trees and ground cover to reduce ticks. First, clear the brush around the area to stop ticks from moving in. Second, thin the trees and plants to break up places where ticks live. This helps lower tick numbers and protects people and pets from tick diseases.
